Land Clearing in Youngstown, FL
Youngstown is just up the road from our Lynn Haven home base, so rural properties along the US-231 corridor are close to home for us. If you’ve bought land out here and it’s thick with pine, scrub and undergrowth, we can help you turn it into a homesite, a pasture or just a piece of land you can actually walk.

Rural Land Calls for Different Work
Youngstown is an unincorporated community in Bay County, about 20 miles northeast of Panama City on US-231. Properties here tend to be bigger and more wooded than in town, with long drives back from the road and a lot more ground to cover. That changes how we approach the job:
- Excavator mulching on acreage: our excavator mulcher grinds trees, brush and heavy vegetation into mulch in a single pass. On a large wooded tract, that can mean far fewer burn piles and truckloads than clearing the old way.
- Selective clearing: keep the best pines and hardwoods for shade and privacy, and clear everything else around them.
- Homesite and pad prep: clearing, stump removal and grading where the house, shop or barn will go, plus fill dirt when the pad needs to be built up.
- Fence lines and trails: opening up overgrown property lines so you can fence, survey or simply get around the property.
- Bush hogging and debris removal: knocking down lighter growth and hauling away what’s left.
Long Driveways Built to Last
A rural homesite usually needs a long driveway, and gravel is the practical choice. It’s more cost-effective than concrete, quicker to install, and it lets rainwater soak through. We grade the path, prep the base, then deliver and spread the gravel. See our gravel driveway page for more.
Working Near Creeks and Lakes
North Bay County is laced with creeks that feed Deer Point Lake, the reservoir that supplies Bay County’s drinking water. If your property backs up to a creek, wetland or the lake, mention it when you call. Work near water can come with extra rules, and we’ll plan the clearing around it. Since Youngstown is unincorporated, permits for larger clearing jobs generally go through Bay County.
